Your luggage isn't just for clothes ... make sure you have room for these too:
Money Matters
___ Wallet with cash (USD or Euros are the most widely accepted currencies)
___ Extra stash of small notes for tips (hotel staff, drivers, tour guides, etc.)
___ Credit & Debit cards
___ List of PIN numbers if you haven't memorized them
Gadgets
___ Cell phone with charger - cruise ships can charge stiff wifi fees
___ Camera with extra memory cards, battery, charger and necessary cables
___ iPod/mp3 player with charger and headphones (only needed if your phone cannot play music)
___ Laptop with power cable (for the busy professional, but you may have to pay for wifi on a cruise)
___ USB flash drive with photocopies of documents & other important information saved on it
___ Underwater disposable camera (if you plan to go snorkeling or scuba diving)
___ eReader and charger (Kindle, Nook, etc.)
When you are not using them, keep your gadges safely stashed away in your cabin or hotel safe, as well as the list of PIN numbers - don't carry it around with you. If you can part with your laptop for the length of your trip, it is recommended you leave it at home, unless you plan on bringing it with you everywhere you go - laptops are too large to fit in the safe.
